The Marantz MR 220 is a vintage stereo receiver that was built in the late seventies. It is capable of producing a very conservative 21 watts per channel. This is a fine example of this modest stereo receiver. This one has been thoroughly serviced - many of its capacitors were replaced, all controls were cleaned, and it was painstakingly detailed. It also has all new LED light bulbs which won't need replacing for years!
This little receiver sounds fantastic and looks great. All functions work as intended. I've been powering a pair of JBL L100s with this receiver and it cranks and sounds great! Please take a close look at the front face as it doesn't glow quite like the classic 22xx series of receivers.
